LG double wall oven

After researching I bought an LG double wall oven. It was super easy to install after a few modifications to the cabinet. There was one bottom trim piece missing that Lowes did not include in the box but a quick call to LG solved that and the part arrived in a few days - excellent customer service The display is easier to read than my previous Jenn-air model and Im looking forward to using some of the special features like the warm/proof setting. The interior is beautiful too. The oven preheats quickly and has many customizable settings as well. Im very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful oven

Beautiful double wall oven that works well. Both upper and lower have a convection option that we are very happy with. The reason for 4 stars versus 5 is that the ThinQ option doesnt seem to work. When try to connect to the ThinQ app the app says this oven isnt supported even though the ThinQ logo is on the front of the oven.

Im so excited to have my new ovens. We couldnt buy them a year ago when we redid our kitchen because the price was too high and we do have all of the other LG kitchen appliances. Just Waiting

We got this LG unit cause we were going LG throughout our kitchen remodel. When we purchased it in May were told it would arrive August as it was back ordered. Which was not a big deal as our custom cabinets were due in late September. Turn out it showed up 3 days later so we had to have it in storage for 5 months. When we finally got to install it it looked great. But unfortunately it does not work. The bottom unit will not heat and the top unit is missing the door switch so the oven wont even try to heat cause it thinks the door is open. Got a warranty claim submitted but the local guy that came to look at it did not speak english very well and thinks he knew what was wrong but needed to order parts. Have not heard back from them. I whole heartily believe this will be a great unit once we get past all these issues as LG makes great products. But to this point have been pretty unhappy with the overall experience.

Nice oven

I bought this about a month ago. First we had a problem with the upper oven preheating so we contacted LG and they sent Mario who fixed the problem. The fan is a bit loud but overall the oven works nicely. After we took the wrapping from the handles we noticed a dent in the upper oven handle. I wonder if its covered by their warranty. Im planning to contact LG and see if they can replace it.

Great features and energy efficient

The oven looks great and has a number of functions and features that we wanted. The surfaces are easy to keep clean. The heat is well contained and does not radiate throughout our kitchen like the old oven we had. One of the halogen lights burned out three days after the oven was installed. The LG Parts group still has not added the spare to their inventory and would not cross reference it. The manual does not indicate the correct replacement part. That is the only small glitch so far in our customer experience and the company certainly has an improvement opportunity but overall we are glad to have our new oven. We definitely would recommend it to a friend or neighbor.

Wonderful Oven

I had wanted to replace my double wall oven for many years but just couldnt find one that I preferred. Love my new LG and the features it has for both top and bottom ovens. Many times you only have multiple options for one unit and not both. I love how they went with the blue interior as it gives the unit a little extra. Loving the convection side of it as it cooks more quickly and more evenly. I have used about every option and roasting I would have to say is my absolutely favorite. From chicken steaks and hams they all came out cooked perfectly and juicy. Might I add with less time than a conventional oven. The black stainless steel is beautiful but it is a lot lighter than other black stainless that I have in my kitchen. My only complaint would be just because it says it is a ThinQ doesnt mean that it operates like one. It wasnt until after install did we realize that it did not connect to wifi even though it is a ThinQ line. That was pretty disappointing as that was one of the options I was wanting. Overall this unit is beautiful easy to use and cooks like a boss
