Bought three weeks ago to replace our 19 year old Maytag refrigerator. Since it served us so well over the years it was a no brained to replace it with a Maytag. Wish the new model had the same type shelving as the old Maytag. None the less we are, so far, pleased with the new model

I like the refrigerator but it is smaller on the inside than I realized. It is only the 30" model since that was as large as I could get. I do like it though and it has made me rethink the size options of the stuff I keep in there. Honestly, who needs the giant jar of mayo from Costco anyway...lol. I love the bottom freezer, no mor hitting my head on the top freezer door...lol

Going from a 1980s 22 cu ft. side by side to this 19 cu ft. fridge has been a challenge. Losing 2 crisper drawers and having to take out 1 shelf to make this fridge work for the two of us has been a venture, but it's not too bad. I'm considering purchasing some clear plastic fridge organizers to help with organization. The only real complaint I have about this fridge is the ice maker - it's LOUD and makes these loud noises at random times. (Putting 2 stars below for this reason.) It took it all weekend to make enough ice to finally shut off the ice maker after it was installed on Friday afternoon. Otherwise the fridge is nice and quiet. Here's hoping this one lasts almost as long as our last fridge. :)

Bought it new and was going to switch handle from the left side to right side. Bottom hole on refrigerator was stripped out screw went right through hole in door with out turning it. It's been this way for over 3 weeks with no handle. Service is terrible! Repair guy coming but if I need a new door it may take 6 to 8 weeks to get one. Next time I'll buy a used refrigerator.

Super happy with this refrigerator so far. We live in a small cabin, so this size is perfect! A bit of popping noise from the compressor every once in a while, but pretty quiet. The butter w/cover shelf for the door does not fit the upper area as described. We just moved it down once slot (design flaw in the smaller model I assume). Love the deli drawer! Will line the basket for the freezer to catch debris as you have to empty out the basket to clean below. We bought this sight unseen on the web as no one close to us had a floor model. As with most things plastic these days, you need to be careful with the drawers overloading and pulling in and out. We paired it with a stove and dishwasher. Very pleased with all three.

This is my second Maytag refrigerator my old one will be a second refrigerator for vegetables from my garden I put in the garage I really love the bottom deli draw I no longer will have cheese I can't see. I really think this refrigerator is not as well made as my 15 yr old one is made don't like the noise the ice maker makes especially since I haven't installed the ice maker

Said "goodbye" to our old frig ... and "hello" to a spacious, functional Magtag. Love the lower sliding tray for cheeses, cold cuts and the like. Easy access to all compartments including pullout freezer. Ice maker cranks out enough cubes for a good sized party. A couple of weeks in service and it's quiet and efficient.

We just replaced our refrigerator and decided on this unit. We love the bottom freezer and storage capacity. The fingerprint resistant finish is great and it works well. My reasons for giving it 4 stars is that the shelves have really big side supports and it limits what you can put beneath the shelves. Also fingerprint resistance should have bee applied to the handles as well. Fingerprints all over the handles. It doesn't make sense not to do the handles as that is how you open and close the doors. They get grabbed all the time. They show fingerprints really bad. One more thing, they could have painted the side black or at least offer black.

I had a bottom mount refrigerator a long time ago and loved it. I'm so happy I have found this one because it fits in the space in my home allowed for it. Its design is simple without a lot of fancy add-ons but its design is clean and the convenience is wonderful. Recommend it to anyone living in a small home who just wants clean lines, a bottom freezer with ice maker and a good interior design which makes it easy to use and keep clean inside as well as the finger print resistant stainless steel.

I am so pleased with my new Maytag refrigerator. It fits the space in my kitchen perfectly and fits my needs to a tee! Maytag was one of the few manufacturers who had the style I was looking for with the one door refrigerator on the top and the roll out freezer drawer on the bottom. I love it!

Purchased a year ago, I was disturbed to find that the freezer had thawed overnight.
Call for service to be told that it's normal and that I should thaw it once a year, preferably in the winter so I could put the food outside and that was it. Normal! So it's normal for a freezer to thaw ......?

I've had my new fridge for almost two weeks. We wanted the freezer at the bottom, and our space is very limited. We chose the Maytag because of very good reviews. It is nearly 3 square feet smaller than our previous refrigerators which had the freezer at the top. We are only two people...this fridge is small, and I don't see how it could work for a larger family. We are still getting used to the smaller size. We also left out one of the shelves as this arrangement works better for us. Size aside, this is a nice fridge! BTW, when it was delivered we had an electrician installing a new dishwasher. He said we'd made an excellent choice of refrigerators!

Best decision I have made on an appliance. Interior lighting is great.
You can see everything at a glance easily. Easy temp adjustments for freezer and fridge.
Highly recommend which I rarely do.

Purchased 3 Maytag appliances. The refrigerator is a big disappointment and we're very dissatisfied with it. Ice maker never worked properly and still isn't working after Maytag service/repair came out to fix it and couldn't complete the repair. And the ice maker still is inoperable.

I am going to agree with another reviewer. I am 5'5" and petite. I often feel that I have to brace myself to open the fridge door because it's so hard to open. I did just have breast surgery and was actually not able to open it on my first day home from the hospital. I have not been able to find any notes on adjusting this.
The door swings open too far and too fast, hitting the door trim next to it. After the first day of use I had a mark on my fridge door that will not come out.
Other than these things it's a great product.

This is my second Maytag refrigerator, and I am just as pleased with my new model as I was with my 12-yr-old. My desire for a stainless steel frontage to blend in with my other kitchen appliances is the only reason that I changed. My new model provides an extra storage drawer, but does leave my fruit and produce drawers a little shorter.

I love everything about the fridge and I highly recommend it to all my friends and family. However our fridge door came with a dent and we are still waiting for a replacement door, it's been 8 months. I keep calling the appliance store and they say it's held up at Maytag. Extremely disappointing

I fell in love with this refrigerator in my small town appliance store. I went back several times to look at it again. I got new cabinets in my kitchen and treated myself to this beautiful refrigerator. It is the perfect size for me. It is so quiet. And of course, I love the freezer on the bottom!

We purchased two of the units to replace an older side by side freezer and refrigerator. Delivery and setup from Lowes was excellent. Units are performing as expected and we expect to get many more years of service from them. The shelves adjusted to fit our needs and the ice production is good. I would recommend these units.

Bought it on 5/2018. Dissapointed with it, though still functional.The unit seeems to run at least 80% of the time, even when hardly opened like nightime. Also, the cooling/compressor noise is too loud compared to all our other prior units and other family members. The pull-out drawer is OK, but would not get a drawer again if we had to rebuy. We have had bad luck with a number of Maytag products (dishwasher and range) and will never again vive Maytag another chance! Cheap manufacturing/quality - noisy, runs way too long! Never again with Maytag for anything- their qality is not what it was once many years ago in our opinion.

I replaced my 35 year-old refrigerator with this model since it had to be small to fit into the space and my custom cabinetry. I the visibility of the products on the shelves and door,how light it is to move around, and having a freezer on the bottom. My big criticism (and almost deal-breaker, since my other fridge was working just fine) is that I had to wait 2 MONTHS for it to arrive at the appliance store!!!!! Is this reasonable?
